Flight

During our last visit to my husband’s sister’s home, I sat outside and watched the workings and playings of nature on a gorgeous late spring day.

The above pictured moth kept flying back and forth, in and out of the sunlight, catching my attention over and over until I finally snapped a picture of it.

Bright blue sky.
Sun and shadows
dancing across the green of the grass.
A moth flitting across the lawn so fast
it left its shadow lagging behind.
