Like thefoxchild who tagged me, I started this blog for myself. I needed a place to help me sort through my thoughts and my experiences, to help me move past a few things so I could step forward into the now, feeling healthy and strong.
I was surprised when people started to find me and the number of visitors went up. I was in shock when the entry about red-beet eggs brought me 600 visitors a day for a few days. I find it silly that the biggest draw is a post about my feet.
And now I’m amazed to see myself tagged with a Thinking Blogger Award. Thank you Foxchild.
Here are the rules:
1.Write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme,
3. Optional: Proudly display the ‘Thinking Blogger Award’ with a link to the post that you wrote.
Since I wasn’t tagged for a particular post, I’m proudly displaying my award here, in a post of its very own.
There are so many blogs out there that make me think and I’m almost positive that many of them have already been tagged. But I figure it can’t hurt to re-tag (as they can always ignore it if they wish) so here goes, in no particular order (and probably very badly explained as I’ve never been good at explaining myself, much less others):
1. Amuirin at Stop and Wander is a fabulous storyteller who has this quirky way of making me think. I suppose that’s because Amuirin is a “blue skinned bellydancer from the planet Melio 5″ and, honestly, I haven’t met many blue skinned bellydancers from any planet.
2. Alabaster Crippens of Alabaster Crippens doesn’t know what’s going on for some similar reasons. Quirky, almost always thought-provoking, and fun.
3. Christina who writes Memories of Movement. Her travels and the photos from her travels have inspired me in many ways and given me food for thought on several occasions.
4. Kel’s Xfacta is another brain-stretching blog. I’ve explored new areas and mediums through her Art Attack challenges. (Plus they’re fun!)
5. Ocean’s Deaf Pagan Crossroads always has plenty of food for thought, as well as some yummy food (recipes).
If I read your blog and didn’t tag you, it’s because I’m pretty sure you’ve already been tagged, not because you don’t deserve it. Every blog I read regularly is a learning and thinking experience. There are some brilliant people out there in blogland.

Thank *you* Robin. I’m glad your site was recognized. The solace of beauty and wonders of the changing world are always apparent when I click on ‘Bountiful Healing’.
And, a bitter thank you from me. I managed to respond to this tagging better than I did the last two.
I guess I don’t always take compliments well. But yeah, thanks. You’ve pretty darn special yourself. I’ve been loving your colour thing recently. Very inspiring.
Which you rarely fail to be.
Hurray For You!
