I’ve been admiring The Photography (and more) of Ron Dubin for a while now. I followed along when he took his trip to Bolivia, vicariously traveling with him as he photographed the people, the buildings, the landscapes and wildlife of the country. He managed to capture the flavor of Bolivia in a visual way and with a great sense of humor (as well as good taste in music).
I was thrilled when I saw that he’d come out with a book: Bolivia: A Journey. I haven’t purchased it yet (still saving my pennies), but plan to soon. (I do have that 50th birthday coming up. Thought I’d mention that in case any of my family members need some gift ideas.) I’ve been lucky enough to get a preview of some of the photos that are in the book. Trying to pick a favorite is almost impossible, there are so many great shots.
Stevo over at Asian Ramblings has posted a review of Ron’s book. Pop on over there and have a read (he says what I’m trying to say in a much more professional and coherent way). And then go have a look at Ron’s book. Tell him Toni sent ya.

He took some really amazing pictures on that trip.
Thanks for the nod, Robin. It is a great book.
