Patience serves as a protection against wrongs as clothes do against cold. For if you put on more clothes as the cold increases, it will have no power to hurt you. So in like manner you must grow in patience when you meet with great wrong, and they will then be powerless to vex your mind.
~ Leonardo Da Vinci

Oh wow! This is a great capture with the play of shadows and sparkly snow. Beautiful. Excellent quote. I have never thought of patience like that. I’m copying this quote and saving it. Great post, Robin. 🙂
Absolutely beautiful! What a way to capture the sparkles and shadows! Both quote and picture are excellent! 🙂
Thank you, Anna & Recreatingmyself. 🙂
Shadows & sparkles, picture perfect, & perfect quote! Who could ask for anything more? D
This is so beautiful. The snow looks like it’s been sprinkled with diamonds. Wouldn’t that be nice!
Really a beautiful photograph. And it does look so very, very, veryvery cold.
That’s snow? It must have been compacted quite a bit. (Please excuse my ignorance on all matters snow related!)
Leonardo was a very wise man. I believe the quote could be related to many other aspects of life, as well as patience.
Yep, it’s snow, Joanne. It’s different than the snow we’re seeing this year. Living here has given me a better understanding of why some cultures have so many words for snow.
Oh, a new header!! It’s Miss Maddy! Gorgeous. 😀
