How beautiful! I didn’t realise such beautifully coloured mushrooms existed, except for in children’s story books. 🙂
Joanne: Seeing these (and other) mushrooms on the trail that morning was a first for me, too. I’m used to the white and brown mushrooms which are prevalent here in Ohio. I’ve seen other colorful fungi (mostly of the yellow and orange variety), but never red mushrooms.
