Be not the slave of your own past —
plunge into the sublime seas,
dive deep, and swim far,
so you shall come back
with self-respect,
with new power,
with an advanced experience,
that shall explain
and overlook
the old.~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Ralph Waldo Emerson; one of my favorite quoters. Those yellow waves you have captured whilst the sun was setting are simply beautiful!
He’s one of my favorites too. Thanks, Joanne. 🙂
mmm
reminds me of mango and coconut gelati
Kel! How funny, in a coincidental kind of way. When we were in Florida we stopped at a new burger place that had a mango and coconut frozen custard I could NOT resist. Two of my favorite flavors in one sweet treat. I don’t get to eat coconut very often since M doesn’t like it.
One of my favorite Emerson quotes paired beautifully with the unusual scene of orange light reflected by the sea… Lovely!
Oh good. 🙂 We’re exchanging favorite quotes, Barbara, with different visuals. (You had one of my favorites on your blog the other day.)
It was one of those lucky shots that turned out painting-like.
Wow….that orange is great! The whole thing looks like a painting!
Thank you, Matt. 🙂
I agree with Matt, it looks like a painting, beautiful!
Thank you, Kieran. 🙂
And thanks for stopping by and commenting. I appreciate it.
