Fairytales were maps formed of blood and hair and bones; they were the knots of the sub-conscious unwound. Every word in every tale was real and as true as apples and stones. They all led to the story inside the story.

This roadway certainly suggests a story inside the story, Robin. You have matched the photo and the accompanying quote to perfection. 🙂
Thank you, Joanne. 🙂
what a wonderful photo
beckoning us into the light
Thank you, Kel. 🙂
Oh wonderful, another author to get to know! The picture goes so well with the quote, leading us into the world of another story…
Thank you, Barbara. 🙂
I love it that fairy tales were formed of blood and bone and bits of hair and maybe some soulful movement of eye and face. The story inside of the story is what we’re after. We’re willing to even bite that challenged-looking apple and discover what secrets it holds. At least I am. Today. Are you, too, Ms. Robin?
This is one of those days in which I feel as though I did just that, Ms. Kathy, and found myself rewarded for taking the risk. 🙂
Way to go, girlfriend! 🙂
