If you walk under a cat
Or let a black ladder cross your path
On Friday the 13th
You will receive seven mirrors
Of broken luck.If you make a wish by chance
Or enter a frog’s house
On Friday the 13th
A chimney sweep will come true.Three butterflies in a circle
Will bring good luck to a four-leaf clover
But only if you find them
On Friday the 13th.
Just a bit of (lame) silliness for my 13th small stone.

Not lame at all, I think it is perfect for a reading on Friday the 13th.
And your kitty is quite the looker. Sweet thing!
lol! I’d say that’s quite the look she’s giving me. Normally Bella is very sweet, but not when she’s being Circus Cat and balancing on the razor edge of a rock.
Thanks, Bo. This project has been a huge stretch for me. Way, way, WAY outside of my comfort zone. I realized when posting this that I have more trouble being openly playful than I do being openly serious. It was a good thing to learn.
And your blog is bee-you-tee-fulll!
Thank you again, Bo. 🙂
🙂 Thanks for the smile, Robin.
You’re welcome, Cordie. 🙂
this is brilliant Robin
[applause]
Thanks, Kel. 🙂
oh silliness is wonderful. More, more, i say. Life brings us enough seriousness on its own, don’t you think? This was excellent and made me laugh.
Thank you, Joss. You’re right. More silliness is in order. 🙂
Should you throw the cat over your left or right shoulder?
lol! Neither. You place it on the doorstep of a new house so no evil can enter or wear it as a necklace to ward off illness and cure colds. 😉
Love this one – so playful!
Thanks, Barbara. I was having so much fun that I was tempted to scramble a few more superstitions. It’s hard to believe how many of them there are! 🙂
