muggy air extracts
a chorus of cicadas
a whining of mosquitoes
a deluge from dark clouds
thunder growls
lightning dashes like fireflies
the tide moves in and out
as a matter of course

Feeling the hush of evensong and the beauty of this scene (minus the mosquitoes.) OK not minus the mosquitoes. I realize they are part of the All. (Barely. tee hee.)
lol, Kathy! Yes, I suppose they are, along with the ticks and deer flies, the heat and the humidity. Easier to enjoy the hush and beauty, though, than the mosquitoes.
I don’t swing by as often, any more, but I do always enjoy your vivid images when I visit, Robin.
Are you busy elsewhere in the blogosphere?
Hi, OmbudsBen! Good to see you. I do have a new blog. It’s over here:

I moved out of the Bogs and to the Eastern Shore of Maryland so it seemed like a good time to start a new blog. 🙂
Great picture. 😀
Thank you, Sallyann. 🙂
